Product Description

The 4th, or Anahata chakra, is located in the center of the chest area near the heart. It represents unconditional love, expansive growth, inner freedom, and life force in the element of air that helps us develop a sense of kinship with all life. The qualities of the 4th chakra flow through these flower essences:

Grape Essence for expansive rather than contractive, or attached, love toward all beings, including noble ideals, a love stemming from wholeness rather than need, a love that frees rather than binds.

Peach Essence for selfless service that balances the sensibilities of the heart; for channeling archetypal feminine and mothering qualities (especially dear in men); for understanding that “the instrument is blessed by what flows through it.”

Raspberry Essence for compassion of the heart as it grows in kindness, empathy, sympathy, and caring for others, and being a “safe” person to talk to.

Affirmation: Affirm quietly but joyfully:

“Nothing on earth can hold me! My soul, like a weightless balloon, soars upward through skies of eternal freedom!”

Meditation on Fourth Chakra: Air Element

Sit upright with a straight spine, shoulders back, and with your chest up and open. To relax your body, first inhale and tense the whole body, then exhale and relax completely. Do this three times.

Feel the air around you on your skin. Now, inhale slowly and feel that you’re filling your whole body with air, from the feet up to the top of the head. Exhale, and feel that you’re expelling all tension, all impurity, and all worldly attachment. Inhale Joy, exhale sorrow; inhale light, and exhale all darkness and negativity.

Now feel and meditate on the thought of the air element of your body. Your body is made of air; it is as light as air. Think of the freedom of the vast blue sky. Then visualize a balloon filled with helium, so it can fly upward. Think of this balloon as symbolizing all your likes and dislikes, all your worldly desires and attachments. Release the string of ego by which you hold this balloon in your grasp. Watch the balloon soar upward, growing smaller and smaller with distance, until it finally disappears into the air and only the vast blue sky is left. Your whole concentration is on being in the air, and having nothing left to concentrate on but air. You become the air itself.

Affirm quietly but joyfully: “Nothing on earth can hold me! My soul, like a weightless balloon, soars upward through skies of eternal freedom!”

Think of your heart, and visualize strings of attachment—cables, in some cases, threads in others—going out in all directions towards various objects. You don’t need to think of the objects; just think of all those cords going out, attaching yourself to the things of the world. Imagine taking an ax, a saw, or some scissors (whatever you need) and cutting them away.

Polish the heart till it shines and reflects back to the world only light and love. Then go inside the heart, and whatever little seeds of desire may still be there, pull them out with your fingers and cast them up into the air, allowing the wind to take them away. Your heart becomes as light as a balloon and can soar upward, free from the trammels of earth. Feel your heart soaring upward. All its rays of aspiration are turned toward freedom, toward the sky, toward the Infinite.)

Chakra Challenge Journaling for the 4th Chakra’s Air Element

1. The heart chakra is the center of divine love. It is also the center of all kinds of other love such as attachments, desires, and all emotions both good and destructive. Describe what you feel love really is. Do you love people in a pure, divine unconditional way or with attachments (“I’ll love you if you act in such a way, and withdraw my love if you don’t.”)? What are some ways to approach new, purer ways of loving yourself and others? Write about your perceptions of the difference between divine love and attached or conditioned love.

2. Describe your emotional life. Does it feel healthy or out of control in some way? Do you get over-emotional, angry, fearful, jealous, hate-filled, grief-filled, etc.? Describe how you deal with emotions like these or any other “out-of-control” or harmful emotions.

3. How can I transmute emotion into devotion? Do I want to?

4. What does the word devotion mean to me in a spiritual context? Is there this kind of devotion in my life? How might I develop more devotion to God?

5. How do I experience and relate to my heart chakra and the air element within me?

6. Now set aside all thoughts of what you have read or heard about this chakra. Close your eyes. Meditate on the 4th chakra for at least 5 minutes. What does it look like to you – shapes, colors, forms, symbols? What does it smell like, taste like, sound like, feel like? Draw a picture or a simple abstract diagram of what you saw or felt in your meditation. Write a poem or a verse or prose for this chakra. What music or chant do you know that would give the feeling of this chakra, either your own musical

Testimonials for the Flower Essences

My husband, myself and my 2 children have been using the flower essences for the last 4 months and I feel they have really addressed and dealt with problems that we knew and many we didn’t know of. The essences are very powerful and deeply spiritual in nature. My family started with orange and strawberry flower essence and within a week of taking them we are felt uplifted and with a deeper and higher energy and free from a many issues. Since then we have taken many different ones as had been indicated by the test and each time the essence prescribed has been exactly what was needed to fix the problem at that point in time. For us the essences have opened a new, deep, and very powerful door allowing us to improve ourselves and evolve. I deeply recommend everyone should take them. ~ S.P., New Delhi

I was going through a ‘big’ situation of change of work, from working in a comfortable job as a Head of Finance in a large multinational company, to deciding to start my entrepreneurship in the area that really attracted me of people development as a trainer and life coach. I was badly ‘caught’ in the test, as it felt like a very confusing change to me. My mind was mostly puzzled, unclear and I really didn’t know if I was even thinking right! The only thing I was sure of then, was that I needed to somehow put all my energies in trying to do what felt right, even if it was very difficult. It was the tomato flower essence that provided that extra Mental Strength and ability to Endure with a deep sense of patience and calmness. With endurance came also the ability to Focus and I found my-self changing almost immediately and started to view ‘difficulties’ on the way, as ‘opportunities’! ~ Dipti Bhatia, Gurgaon

I am a homeopathic practitioner since 18 years. I have gone through the book The Essential Flower Essence Handbook. After my in-depth studies, I prescribed more than 100 essences to my patients, especially on their mood and nature. I used Avocado Essence for memory and concentration in school children and observed their results are improving from their next test only. I used Cherry Essence for cheerfulness and Pineapple for confidence. In the next follow up patients reported that they feel improvement as soon as they took the first drop. Many patients have started reading The Essential Flower Essences Handbook and want to know more about the essences for their use and help others also. ~ Dr. Ketan Shah, MD (Homeopath), Ahmedabad

I have two sons, both are very active children. My elder son is diagnosed with ADHD (mild). I get overworked due to many personal reasons and i tend to loose my peace and sense of balance. I have been working very hard with my elder one, but now seems to loose my patience. One day on some refernce i contacted Dipti ji and she adviced Tomato and Spinach essences for me. This worked very well, specially Spinach essence. I am trying Avocado essence for my child now. ~ R.S.

Jena came from North East and joined me as assistant sales executive in my office. First week went off well. The second week I found her disturbed and most distracted. Turned out she had lost her mother some time back and she was missing her that day. And all in all she was demotivated to concentrate on work. Corn Essence was handy. One dose under the tongue and 20 minutes later Jena was sitting in front of me asking me how to deal with a certain difficult customer! ~ Kamini, Bangalore
